2018-2019 PROJECT UPDATES:
Project 1: House and well
All praise is due to Allah. The house build was complete just before Ramadan. The family moved into their new home after being displaced for years after their home made of tin, cardboard and scrap collapsed. The scrap material was used for an outdoor toilet and that was all that remained of their home. We have now given them a house made of bricks and a roof with steel support to secure the building. They were also given a community well which is shared by a few poor families. Your contribution made the difference. See pictures before and after.
Project 2: Medical fund
You donated £1500 in medical funds. We have been able to use that money to deliver essential medication on a monthly basis to the needy families. We built a partnership with local pharmacies and the medication is collected by the families monthly. We pay the pharmacy directly. You have relieved a man who suffered from severe shakes resulting in no rest. He is now benefiting from the medication which will roll over for another 2 years. Others have also benefited from the medical fund. A missing child was left in the hospital with a leg injury that resulted in an infection and amputation. We contributed to his antibiotics after surgery. Your donations really are reaching the needy and in that you have the duas of so many.
2017-2018 PROJECTS UPDATES:
Project 1: House and well
By the will of God and all the kind donations and the efforts of fundraisers we managed to complete the house build for this needy family. They also have an operating well providing a water source. They do not need to travel long distances everyday for water nor use handouts to mend a house made of cardboard, straw, and clay. Many offered their Zakah money and sadaqah jariya and general sadaqah towards a great project that went only to the needy family. The family are delighted and invited the locals on the day of the move for long prayers for all the donors and fundraisers. We pray it will be added to your scale of good deeds.
Project 2: Roof replacement and community well
The family are so pleased that they can face the heavy rainfall without water seeping into their home. They now have a brand new roof of good quality tin! The roof wood has also been replaced. They no longer have a fear of the house collapsing. Thank you all for your kind donations. May Allah always relieve you as you have relieved them. Ameen
